Hans de Beer(b. 1957, The Netherlands) |

Born in Muiden, Hans de Beer broke of his history studies to attend the Rietveld Academy, where he specialized in illustration. For his graduation project, he produced the picture book 'Een ijsbeer in de tropen'. He eventually became a wellknown author and illustrators for (preschool) children's books, starring characters like 'Kleine IJsbeer'. In the 1980s and 1990s, he was present in Bobo magazine with the comic about the little pig 'Onno'. |
